I dunno, I'm not a fan of Harris, but I really want to watch her be a total bitch to Trump and kick his ass. I hope she's takes the gloves off and the Dems stop being timid around fascists, but maybe I'm dreaming.

I wish politics would be boring, but what a wild fucking ride. It's become just too outrageous to be believed. Imagine going back in time just 10 years to explain this election to someone. They wouldn't believe it.

i agree with him though. i heard this somewhere recently:
all democrats are united against trump.
all democrats are united on ukraine.
they're divided on israel.

all republicans are united on israel.
they're divided on ukraine and trump.

that's the messaging.

Who are you talking to and what are you implying? Be specific.
I'm saying you sound like a lib, if you don't like it stop sounding like one. cool kamala raised some cash from her lib channels, she's still a cop and the only ones talking about her are cnn, npr and neolibs, this whole convo started w/ u making assumptions about me and where I'm getting my info...

back to my original statement, dems are gonna lose in a landslide, mark my words (I take no pleasure in this)

Sounding like a lib is tantamount to pointing out your ignorance with facts and needling you for sharing a link from Ben Shapiro in your world. Fact-avoidance is dumb when the right does it and dumber when done by the left. There are leftist pages, sources, journalists, and presidential candidates discussing Kamala Harris' quick ascension and financial windfall.

Don't direct traffic to Daily Wire and I won't assume.

I'm loving that trump's donations to Kamala Harris' campaigns in the past are coming back to bite him.

Also: in regards to the donations - yes it's a lot of money, yes it's record breaking. But that's not the interesting part. 60% of those donors have never donated politically before. THAT's the interesting part.

"I don't like the candidates so I will not vote to show my displeasure by protesting. There. I will not vote."
*realizes that half of Americans don't vote anyway, there is no protest vote, voting is what pushes systems, not changes them*
"Shit."

The privilege people have is astounding. We're have gotten several steps closer to universal health care, changing the court systems, protecting workers rights, protecting scores of millions of minorties rights here in the states, but lets just piss it all away crying because a human who was a lawyer and a part of the system is on the ticket. They're all part of the system! Not voting puts these things at even greater risk - as evidenced by the current make up of the courts under Trump and the loss of abortion rights, the loss of workers rights under Trump, etc. If you can afford those rights to be eroded, fine, but not voting says you don't care about those who would be hurt, suffer, or be killed.

I realize most people don't enjoy the journey, but Jesus Fuck Man, progress is made by taking steps in one direction toward an outcome as a part of an overall process. Skipping steps and taking shit for granted is a mistake already made.

You don't have to vote, but don't pretend it's part of some overarching strategy to move the world closer to your position, it's just another bullshit excuse that will perpetuate the system itself even more. Intellectually un-curious and dishonest. Don't play otherwise.

I've heard all the counter arguments, so consider this a courtesy - I've heard 'em all, and none land.

^this FFS. I've been hearing the same tired bullshit since my first election Gore/Bush/Nader 2000 and that sure worked out well.

With new executive powers, you can also probably kiss any progressives you might like goodbye with another Trump presidency. They'll all be censured, if not straight up arrested.
