So great to see so many friends in person, and remember those who couldn't be with us.

Sorry about that! I blame the vegan sloppy joes.

Dixie and the other HiFi guys and I were bummed that we could only be there for Saturday. After leaving town to escape the RNC, coming back to play GBUFO Fest in Green Bay on Friday, and then driving to the BBQ on Saturday, we needed Sunday to recuperate, but there was a part of Dixie and me who both wanted to tough it out, because we didn't nearly have enough time to chat with everyone we wanted to have REAL TALK with. But we were definitely happy to be able to experience the blur of Saturday's action! Good job everyone.

I'm 100% with Jeff - I know there is always talk about "we need to invite people from outside, we need more diverse bands and voices," and that's laudable, but at this point, these events are about us getting to see our friends who we don't get to see every day (and who we didn't get to see for a few years straight through Covid). If new folks want in on the fun, great! But yeah, they can come to us. That is absolutely our approach to Thundersnow now. Come hang out! Meet the best people! Don't think this is a tour stop! Hang out and meet your new best friends!

Yeah this one was special, thanks again everyone. Was really fun to get back out there again and share the stage with my buds after a few years break. I tried to make it to as much as I could over the weekend but missed a few bands I really wanted to see due to family obligations. I still saw a shitload of music and was there for every night and it was all pretty great.

Reiterating what I said in a FB post - bands, come play Color Club, so that I can walk half a block to see you!

Tell me more about the place! Once new Body Futures and HiFi releases are sent into the world (soon for both!), I am gonna want to get both bands back to Chicago and frankly it's been a real drag trying to get booked down there lately the few times I have put effort in.

I've been out of the game for a few years. Things have changed here quite a bit. I recall the Bottle changing quite dramatically by the end of FL, all the older people who had been around were gone. Hideout seems very different. Some places don't exist anymore. It's nice to see some new places pop up, though.
