2113^ When they didn't mean to say that but they said exactly what they meant.

Re: Politics
2114I think he's the first honest American politician, though.
We're headed for social anarchy when people start pissing on bookstores.
Re: Politics
2115Someone recently suggested that Trump cannot read very well. Dems should ask for a reading comprehension test. Not the dem ticket maybe, but others in the media ought to start saying.
Let's make the Trumps cry, playground bully style. It's the only thing they seem to understand.

Re: Politics
2116Trump can barely read, yes. I think that's pretty well-established. I've personally believed this for years, and this isn't like the fucking-a-couch thing where he just looks like a guy who can barely read.enframed wrote: Thu Aug 08, 2024 12:05 pm Someone recently suggested that Trump cannot read very well. I'm sure you guys have seen the maps.penningtron wrote: Thu Aug 08, 2024 5:11 amYeah. If you get rid of the cities and college towns, the Midwest is just the south with worse food.ErickC wrote: Wed Aug 07, 2024 8:23 pmLiterally the only reason Minnesota appears blue is the cities and Duluth. The people here are fucking disgusting.
Yeah. Ax the cities and college towns, and every state sucks and has zero dollars for any public works.

That doesn't sound bad, actually.
Re: Politics
2119It pretty much is? It's about the same only toned down, and even the right wing is generally OKAY with some level of public health care, they just also want private options.
Less chance someone will shoot you though, like WAY less chance. People's temper runs a bit cooler and there's less guns overall. Slow driving for sure though.
The prairies, northern Ontario, rural maritimes has tons of racism. Quebec, however lovely, doesn't like a lot of cultures.
Northern ontario is weird because it's like libertarian pro labour, without exposure to many other skin colors so they don't know how to deal with it + hundreds of years of native rights/treaty issues.
Re: Politics
2120I think at least a few folks who worked on SNL when he hosted in 2015 have said that he could barely read. Also figure he likely needs glasses but is worried wearing them in public would make him look weak, but he's too grossed out to put contacts in his eyes.eephus wrote: Thu Aug 08, 2024 12:10 pmTrump can barely read, yes.
