I have one of these and I love it - would buy it again for 400 in a heartbeat. Not sure it would sound like the 1484 you want, but speaker might dictate that.

Same topology as a 5F6A, Plexi, etc. Solutions for one would likely work for the other.

found a Blues Jr. special edition with the Hot Rod Hempster 12” speaker on craigslist for a good price, tried it out and loved it. I’m set.

My main amp has been a 1484 or a 1483 for the last 20 years. Not a lot quite like it (and we don't necessarily want to replicate that weirdly busted reverb), but I did use an Ampeg J-12T for a show when my 1484 was in the shop and I felt good about it.

If you're just using the 1484 head it's very light though, and with a better cab than the cardboard shit the original came with you can do crazy stuff. I've been using a Thiele type EV 1x15 recently...
