I just finsihed laying down tracks for one of my songs on Digital Perfomer 3. I have 9 audio tracks and I want to export my song as a WAV file.
When I select all of my tracks and click on 'Bounce to Disk' my computer crashes after about 5 seconds of processing. I haven't been able to export the file. When I export one or two tracks at a time everything works fine, but when I do them all at once the machine freezes. I also tried loading my sequence as a chunk to a new file, but no luck.
Can anyone offer any help?

2Does increasing the Buffer Size have any effect when bouncing to disk? Or does that only help during real time playback?
Also, where are your audio files? If they're on the internal drive, maybe it's too slow. Do you have an external 7200RPM drive you can put the project on? Or split the location of the audio files between two different drives?
I'm pretty new to DP, so I may be (and probably am) totally off-base here. Intern 8033 is the expert.

3Intern_8033 has saved my life! I tried what you suggested and I was able to export my song as a WAV file. Thanks a lot! Not even MOTU tech support was able to solve this issue.

4There's a lot MOTU support can't do for you. Unicornation.Com is pretty good though.
Yes Bob, raising the buffer size also helps the Bounce to Disk function along nicely.
