Okay. For whatever reason, I don’t seem to be able to think of a lot of good examples of the subject topic. Perhaps a blind spot at the moment?

Was listening to music with my daughter earlier today. Something she liked. Really great drummer. Kinda heavy. But feminine vocals that were, uh, pretty (?). They didn’t really match the music.

I explained my thoughts to her and she asked for examples. I could only think of dude singers that sounded like lunatics (e.g., David Yow). No women. Like the closest I could think of was someone like PJ Harvey.. sometimes.

I mean, yeah, I can think of songs that include women screaming, but like, what are some good examples of women just absolutely losing their shit on vocals?
