That’s not the point anyway
The point is Harris wants it to happen but trump is the crazy one for pointing it out.
Your phrasing here is weirdly right wing and decontextualized.

Context: incarcerated people are in the care of the state. The state provides their healthcare. For some tiny minority of those incarcerated people gender-related care is part of their health picture.

You can skip to one branch of that tree of causality and end it with "Harris wants...." and not technically be a liar. But, like, wouldn't you rather let Sean Hannity say that kind of shit?
why? so we can call sean hannity a crazy right winger too?
i'm not trying to make a "technical" argument. i'm asking why can't trump cite her record if she's so proud of it? it was one of the few honest things he said on that stage.
I'm just curious why you're so keen on amplifying it with gusto. It's just a gotcha. It reduces our understanding of the issue rather than enhancing it.

It's like when they say people are killing 8 month old fetuses. They are, but in the most extraordinary circumstances to require it for a woman's survival. It's like saying Trump signed a military spending bill that went to KY jelly for the soldiers because the VA doctors have to give prostate exams. "Did you know the police are wiping their ass with our money?". Boner pills for Congress. Etc.

i typically don't chime in on this stuff, but you’re making me see his dumbass posts by quoting him.

Exactly. It’s a niche of niche issue. I’m sure it’s incredibly important to people in that community but that it’s a topic of discussion in modern politics is ludicrous. Just give people that need healthcare, healthcare. I was actually pretty happy during the UK election when the Tories tried weaponising it Starmer just stared them down.
that's right. stare back at him. don't call it crazy! otherwise, the hysteria will just continue. don't dismiss it as a niche issue. trump did not force her to answer the aclu. give her some credit here.

Yes, you're right. I unblocked at some point and I can't remember why now. I remember why I did in the first place tho.

this isn't a gotcha. the candidates are talking about the same thing and they actually have opposing views.

This comes off as exceedingly callous. Last Sunday a black transgender woman named Redd was shot multiple times in the back in front of her group of friends. The shooter hasn't been found. Issues facing the trans community aren't niche and they ultimately affect all of us.

I think I’ve repeated my opinion of the importance of intersectionality in this thread enough. I appreciate that comment might look callous but I mean in the wider political context of things that impact the average person’s lives from a purely “winning votes so you can do the good stuff”. The “good stuff” that we want done would disproportionately positively impact the lives of minorities. You win by presenting these ideas as good for everyone, which they are. This is a “yes and” strategy not a narrow focus that conservatives dickheads can easily turn into a media circus culture war. Do people want things done, or do they just want to present externally how progressive they are for showzies?

No one is excluded just because you don’t talk about everything.
