Triggered? Really? Are you playing fox news bingo or something? C'mon dude, you're not fucking 12 years old - act like it. That kind of BS only reflects badly on you.
no no no it's common lexicon now. it just means you attached to ONE THING i wrote, and ignored the rest of it (kind of like chad just did). no offense dude. certain things can trigger me too.

Which had nothing to do with the border, or border policy. The job was to liaise with leaders in South America to attempt to come up with ways to stop people heading towards the border in the first place.
Seriously, you're starting to sound like you spend all day reading turning point posts on your social media feed. There are genuine things you could criticise her over instead of repeating false propaganda.
all i see here is other people making excuses for her when all she had to do was say, "Not my fault! I'm the SOUTH AMERICAN liaison lol." yeah, she should try to spin it like that. see what happens.
the whole reason i brought it up is because she let trump control the narrative. true or not, it's not a good look for her. now is her chance to be a hero! i'm watching...

I know it's not unprecedented that two hurricanes hit the same place in rapid succession, but this feels so much worse for some reason, and it's getting to me.
It's fair to ask of politicians what they're elected to do. That's not what is happening with hbof.

I used to live in Sarasota. I care about so many people there who are still picking up the pieces from Helene, and now stand to lose everything. Packing up their houses not knowing what will be there when they return. Looking at piles of debris from Helene that are going to become stores of dangerous projectiles in any wind storm. Sitting in hours of traffic not knowing if they're going to run out of gas on the highway with young kids in the car. It's heartbreaking.

I live in Atlanta, and we've already seen an influx of folks escaping the Helene devastation. I'm expecting a massive influx of even more hurricane refugees in the next few days. I think this is becoming the new 'normal', and also feel like Atlanta is dodging a lot of the worst of it.

I have elderly relatives in Florida. They're on the Atlantic coast but I'm still worried about it. Ron is at least taking Biden's calls now.

Wishing everyone the best.

We're headed for social anarchy when people start pissing on bookstores.
