On a related note, I also have the AirPod pro and with noise cancellation they work PRETTY well, although hi hats bleed through in an annoying way.
I have built a 2 pairs of these using $12 construction ear protection phones from amazon and some drivers from old (broken 7506) headphones. Work great but don't feel... pro. I drilled a quarter inch hole in the side of them that is plugged with sticky tack so you can open them up to let a little sound in if you want. I'm inventive. I've also just put on earbuds and put the construction phones over them... also works in a pinch.

  • Verellen Spaldo with flight case, AC-15 clone, tube reverb.
Would love to see some photos and a price for this one!
I'll be passing through NY in a few months on tour...
Camera buddy is coming over tomorrow, hoping to take some photos, hoping to steal some time at work this week to price everything out, also found ANOTHER box of guitar pedals...I am an utter pack rat it appears.
I made my hobby my job, then I hated it, now I do something else.
Buy my gear?

I've had my fun building and testing this out. Love everything about it, but already have a bass.

So, how about $900 + shipping to wherever you are? I do have a gator hard case I could sell along with it, but it'll add to shipping I would guess. 34" scale, Great gritty output from the HB, high-mass fender bridge. 12" radius neck. worked hard to get the weight down and avoid neck dive- 8 pounds 12 oz.

Bit of an early warning here.

I have an early (1975-76) Travis Bean TB2000 bass that I'll be selling in the next several weeks.

Natural finish, worn in a good way.
A drop put a crack in it, as Beans sometimes do (design flaw)....but...fixed super solidly by someone who has done this exact fix to Beans before.
You can't see the crack much at all, and it won't happen again. Just full disclosure on that!

Neck is great, fairly beefy but easy playing.
Pickups are great, beefy, a bit more midrange and hotter than others I've tried and most of Kevin's replicas.

Tuning pegs are Schallers, which is correct to the bass, but I picked them up on eBay and they say "Ovation" on them because they came off an Ovation, which I think is funny personally.

Anyway, $3000 here, which is as cheap as you'll find a good playing Bean bass, I think.
I'd start it a bit higher on Reverb, but not a lot since I got a decent deal on it and it has been repaired.
Might be able get it finished for you for a couple hundred bucks if you want it to be painted.

Okay, I'm re-listing this. I just don't play it as much as my Burny and Orville LP's. Plus I've been primarily playing bass in bands for, oh, only the last 20 years or so.

1975 wine red Gibson Les Paul Deluxe

I purchased this guitar in 2000 at Guitar Emporium in Louisville, Kentucky. At that time it already had plenty of finish wear on the body and neck, and had been routed by a previous owner for full size humbuckers, plus a coil tap switch had been added. I toured and recorded a LOT with this Les Paul and it always delivered. Sometime around 2015 I had this guitar completely re-fretted with medium jumbo frets. I also had the coil tap switch removed (which left a small hole by the controls), had all of the wiring (which was a mess) replaced, and I swapped out the Seymour Duncan pickups it had with an amazing sounding set of Manlius pickups. Specifically, a Fat Diane PAF-style bridge humbucker with Alnico 4 magnets and a Landmark PAF neck humbucker with Alnico 2 magnets. This was a HUGE improvement. One of the better LP's I've ever played. A non-original hard case will be included.

$3,000 plus shipping if applicable. I would knock $200 off if you'd rather have the guitar loaded with a set of GFS Mean 90 pickups instead of the Manlius ones. Trades considered for a 70's or Heritage 50th Anniversary Ampeg SVT head & matching 8x10 cabinet, or the right 70's Fender Precision Bass. Also always interested in trades for vintage Marshall or Orange stuff. But a cash sale would be ideal.
