+1 all this. I have three Casadys (2 standard, 1 fretless.)

Only major gripes are the garbage tuners and output jack.

I would also gladly play a Steve Harris P-bass or Geddy Jazz. The Dirnt P-bass would probably be fine as well.

EDIT: Not the sparkly blue Harris though. A guy's gotta have some limits.

Yeah, the binding or faux binding effect is horrible.

For whatever reason I don't hate the faux binding effect on that, especially being a Liverpool guy

I was really surprised at how good the signature stuff is that was made for the Idol crew. I didn't know Knaggs guitars at all, but both Steve and Billy have signature models that they play on many songs in the live set- Robust, easy to work on. Don't feel fussy like most boutique instruments. The Steve Stevens amp from Friedman is also a workhorse. The touring rack has 2 of them in stereo, plus a spare.
And the Billy Morrison signature LP is amazing. If I were going to spend real money on a guitar, that might be the one.
