46Halloween is NOT CRAP. It has always been my favorite holiday. Costumes and candy as a kid then costumes and parties as an adult. It is fun, it is secular, and it is for everyone who wants to participate. The non conformity of everyone dressing up in a way to suit themselves and the creativity that often goes into that is a highlight for me. I also love the seemingly more relatively recent tradition of bands dressing up as famous bands and doing cover sets at local bars. It goes on everywhere. That is fun. I do not always get to participate but when I do it is at 100%.
