Reuss Effects Muzzbox
Warren Ellis signature angry Octavia.
Just opened the box of mine this morning. This thing fucking rips.
Maybe there’s nothing too special versus a standard Octavia, but it’s a damn fine octave up fuzz. It’s wild sounding and compact. My harmony bobkat just zips out Grinderman sounds, though that wasn’t really my goal for getting the thing. I don’t usually get that spendy, but I was in a mood.

23He is the rhythm guitarist for Billy Idol, but has played w/ The Cult and a number of other bands. I get the dislike of LPs, I go back and forth on them. Building an alu-neck LP style right now, which is re-igniting my interest.Dr Tony Balls wrote: Fri Nov 01, 2024 11:14 am I dont know who Billy Morrison is and I dont like Les Pauls.

25the the noisy chaos this pedal brings is especially appreciated in low-volume settings where that can't be obtained by volume alone. Reuss' pedals are really good. It's always tempting to get more.TylerDeadPine wrote: Sat Nov 02, 2024 9:51 pm Forgot about the Roland Howard pedal, it's a beautiful thing.

26Yes the Howard pedal looks really good. Basically a blue box, distortion +, and a micro amp (in there somewhere for better volume?). Gotta put my blue box back on my board. Instead of the distortion + I use a rat but it’s the same idea.jirbling rake wrote: Sun Nov 03, 2024 1:31 pmthe the noisy chaos this pedal brings is especially appreciated in low-volume settings where that can't be obtained by volume alone. 27I have his take on a Si/Ge tonebender mkiii and it's a great sounding pedal. His stuff is really reasonably priced and seems to fly a bit under the radar.jirbling rake wrote: Sun Nov 03, 2024 1:31 pmthe the noisy chaos this pedal brings is especially appreciated in low-volume settings where that can't be obtained by volume alone. 29Torn because I’ve always wanted a Gretsch Princess, but I can’t abide putting an offset tremolo on every guitar there is.WeStartToDrift wrote: Mon Nov 04, 2024 2:46 pm Hate, hate, hate Jack Antonoff's work, but this looks sick.
I would still rather an old Gretsch over any new one, no matter how big of a piece of shit the old ones could be. I really don’t have the whole vibe that could pull off pink guitars anyways.
Edit: that looks less like a Gretsch Princess and more like one of the PRS guitars they tried to sell to the Smashing Pumpkins crowd
