Me and my loved ones have had a huge uptick in harassment this year. Trump ran on a platform of trans genocide and he fucking won handily. Fascism is on the rise and quite frankly I don’t want to be around for it. I don’t want my only reason for living to be other people’s only reason for living. I have an entire found family here, and with the GOP’s plans there won’t be anywhere in the US that’s safe. There’s no way in hell I could be happy leaving my partners and closest friends behind. I’m also disabled and have no income and am surviving on food stamps and medicaid (the latter of which is almost certainly going to stop covering my hormones under this administration), so moving outside the country is basically impossible and things are getting worse for trans people in all but the hardest countries to immigrate to

There’s not a single option that’s looking more appealing than suicide to me right now. I just really don’t want to do it alone. If at least one of my partners wants to together it’ll be the easiest, quickest decision I’ve ever made

Not that it really matters—this election has shown beyond a doubt that a huge portion of the populace are just absolutely horrific people who won’t be stopped without the use of force, and far too many people refuse to accept that.
