Unrelated, but people were bitching about the left on here nonstop leading up to the election while liberals were losing the entire fucking country to a shitbag that was supposed to have been beaten four years ago.

It’s sad, but a leftist opposition to Biden and Harris would have probably been better for them at this point.

I feel strongly that people in our world do not understand how repulsed by legitimate progressivism the right wing really is. A dude who used to play in the punk community who'd been critical of Harris suddenly came out to celebrate DT's win. Singling out DEI and communism as his reasons to be relieved.

I think there's that needle to thread we talked about here regarding broad, Keynesian style pushes to boost the working class without a lot of Marxist packaging. It seems you can't win a majority when speaking clearly to racism, misogyny and homophobia.

For many Russian speaking Ukrainians they are.
Would this include those currently serving in the armed forces? Or those who have switched from Russian to Ukrainian since 2022? Or any of the former residents of Mariupol, Bakhmut and Avdiivka?

Russian is spoken all across the country. You can hear Russian everyday in Kyiv. The current president became famous in his own Russian language, only started speaking Ukrainian as president. The language isn't banned or its speakers persecuted.

If you're referring to the Donbas events, the significance there isn't that they are Russian-speaking. "Russian-speaking" Kharkiv next door had its own Maidan rally. And as you can see, those regions still have many Ukrainian speakers. Also look at this map of the independence referendum - not people dragged screaming into a non-Russian Ukraine.

That's unfortunate, because I hoped you had at least dropped the most obviously ridiculous parts, such as
Curry Pervert wrote: Mon Nov 04, 2024 8:03 pmbiolabs
Here, a short text dealing with the biolabs thing. Dated June 2022, mere months after the claim first surfaced - or, at least, where I know it from, when bald Russian guy was waving a paper around in the UN assembly, just about when the Russian army was in Bucha, talking about biolabs. Four months later, all done with. Easily found with one search. But here 2 years later, 2.5 years into full-scale invasion, you're still on the biolabs.

June 2022 is also just around when the claim was first spotted that Pentagon had "admitted" to these biolabs (as you also claimed earlier). This is allegedly the original source of that claim. Looks reliable, yes.

If this is the level you're at, it makes me wonder if you're at all receptive to information. The parts of your argument are stupid each in themselves, but they don't even add up to anything intelligible. You believe in a lot of nonsense that you base off of other nonsense. Quite like the way Russian propaganda is structured.

And if it is true as Ortho says - I trust he is a greater RT conaisseur than I am - that all or most of your points come directly from Russian state TV (or has been picked up and circulated by the same, both can probably happen), then you have been circulating a battery of tailor-made Russian propaganda for years. Most impressive. Kremlin pays people to do this all day, but volunteers like you play a vital role too.

To stay on that last point, if there is any sincerity in your concern for Russian-speaking Ukrainians, or any Ukrainians, then you will drop all this immediately. Forget what you think you know and start over. Anything you want to know, refer to people who live in the area, who were alive during when whatever happened, who participated in rallies or knows someone who did... there are plenty of 'em, online and offline. Accept their explanations, go from here. But give up this idea that you are in the know against "State Department" sheeple, and that you're sitting on truth-nukes that are going to blow us all away. There are none such, you're playing a one-man game.

Unless you do this, don't talk about Ukraine. You're causing active harm. You must also recognize that any explanation premised on "provocation" or "proxy war" is one that will favour Russia - apart from the fact that it, too, isn't based one anything credible.

But maybe first of all just learn to fucking process information. I wouldn't blame anyone for being confused about Maidan, and still less about the Donbas events, but fucking biolabs?

Also, please donate, if you can.

They just regurgitate every Murdoch propaganda talking point they ingest. "But hunter bidan laptop!"
Hang on… Gen Xers? I thought we were the cool increasingly old people?

If we’re turning into Boomers, Millennials and Gen Z are next. 😂
If only there were an antidote for Boomerism. Not becoming "born again" is a start. Those people are fucked.

I did a comparative analysis of the US health system vs New Zealand’s nationalised NHS style system. One of the issues that came up in lecture from my American professor was a large part of the painfully slow shift to a public option in the US was racism. White people don’t like paying taxes to help black and brown people. Far more white folks have insurance so the system works for them.

The Democrats lost by the death of a thousand cuts, due to the culture and economic war that the GOP has waged and done so with such bad faith and ratfuckery. Unfortunately, this is now a proven way to win politics. So the Democrats have to start getting their hands dirty, or be left in the dustbin. They need to stop courting fucking republicans and start fighting the culture war. And if they don't want to embrace the Sanders' bread and butter strategy, they should start being ratfucks and call Republicans pedophiles who want to impregnate and enslave teen girls with their anti-abortion laws, it's not even that far out from the truth. What do they have to lose, other than more elections? This is the new era of politics. Not just a show, but an absolute shit-show.

I mean, can you blame this right here? https://news.wttw.com/2024/11/06/illino ... cal-office

You can say that JD Vance for the most part had it right when he said he had to make shit up for the media to pay attention.

I remember a while back there was an Arm Progressives pro-gun leftist movement.

You can add that one in. You are right, the left should stop being civil. Fuck ‘em there’s nothing to lose and a world to gain.

The former, but I ain't gonna sneeze much at the latter neither. Or, maybe they need to look at it from an economical standpoint since the humanity angle isn't working. More than half of the country was ambivalent towards slavery until it wasn't profitable. Progression in America is fueled by capital and violence, not morals. Honestly I'm not much of a deep philosophical historian or thinker but the problem isn't for non-white people to fix, and since the teaching of any racial issues/history will soon go the way of the dodo - save for the rescuer perspective - I don't feel comforted with what lies ahead for us.
