The Fender Mike Dirnt P-Bass is seriously the best bass I've ever played. Huge chunky baseball bat-style neck with a Jazz nut width? Nitrocellulose finish? Hi-Mass bridge? Ash body? An amazing sounding vintage-style split coil pickup? It's my dream bass. I bought a sunburst one with a maple fretboard from Joe Principe's Reverb shop a few years ago and that bass is never leaving my possession. It's truly something special.
I'm also in serious lust with the Gretsch Tim Armstrong signature G5191 guitar, though I'll probably never actually buy one.

43I had a Dave Murray sig Strat for a while, thing fucking ripped! Great neck.
I only sold it to fund my EGC.

Re: Signature Gear: The Good Stuff
45I've always loved that maiden kinda just stuck with slightly modified strats, p bases, occasional les Paul. Keeping it very real guitar wise and everything sounds fantastic. No pointy horseshit or amps that look like truck tool boxes. That band kicks so much ass. Aces High came on while I was driving to work the other day and I ended up being the old guy at work telling all the kids they listen to shit if they aren't listening to Maiden. Re: Signature Gear: The Good Stuff
46Was kinda curious about ^that strat but the Dave Murray strats that came back in a search just look like regular single coil strats with Floyd Roses.

47There's been a few different incarnations. He's been around a while. Mine was 2009 - 2014 version.penningtron wrote: Mon Nov 11, 2024 7:27 am Was kinda curious about ^that strat but the Dave Murray strats that came back in a search just look like regular single coil strats with Floyd Roses.
