Nice mild gain, interesting uses in how to stack and controls sounds in the video. But maybe it's just another fucking pedal.
Likely, yes - but I've also been impressed with everything Land Devices has put out in general. We'll see how much it costs!

$250. And same about their pedals. I have a couple and they are really nice.

I didn’t listen to the demo yet, but this is hardly another fucking pedal. It has a switchable high pass/low pass filter with resonance and a CV input. Interested to see how this sounds with guitar BUT this is likely a badass pedal with analog synths with a CV output.

Hmmm... Pedalboard that hosts euro modules/500 series for the real cork sniffers out there. That's an idea.

With a built in Midi sequence loop switch like this thing

https://www.doremidi.cn/h-pd-93.html

so you can program pedal to 500 series fx loops.

I like this idea very much. In the demo they use one of these Left Brainz pedals for extra capabilities:
https://pedalbrainz.com/leftbrain.html

which looks like a cool little pedal, although there has been time to really read what it does and understand it better.

I thought it was cool, but someone else might know of a pedal that does this better or a better option.

It's still cool, but I can't justify it or get excited to just doom-spend on it. at least not yet.

Seems like there is a lot of stuff on the market that just kinda makes your guitar sound like you are driving the shit our of a Tascam 4 Track preamp. I like it. Maybe I'll just build a pedal that has a Tascam 424 preamp in it and sell it as a distortion pedal.

Yep this is a whole thing now. @ 1:24 >>

It's actually been a thing for a long time, Brad Laner has been affectionate of piping through 4 tracks for saturation since the early 90's. I'll say there is a nostalgia to the tone of it for me too.

The JHS Color Box is a fancy "HIFI" version of playing guitar direct into a mic preamp, and I think Land Devices has at least 2 other pedals that are simulations of front end preamps getting smashed. Someone out there has another tape recorder front end in a box, I think its an ampex circuit. Can't remember who.
