I'll play basically anything labeled an immersive sim, and this one is pretty good. Easy recommend.
I saw that pop up in a list of underrated immersive sims the other week. Good to get another rec.

I've been given several recs of this by the way - might be up your alley.

That's on the list.

I'm playing Ghost Recon: Wildlands again. Now just dodging the final missions, getting all the stuff I didn't get the first time.
It get repetitive, but it has a good atmosphere and it's satisfying. I also have the Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, but I haven't tried it yet.
After the main plot I usually get stuck drilling few enemy bases or something like that.

I also have All Walls Must Fall installed, but haven't tried it out yet.

Oh man, she and her dad built spiky barricades around one dude's house so he would just walk back and forth inside the spikes, unable to get out. It was equally awesome, hilarious, and made me feel bad.

I don't have any real skills or history with gaming, so I like walking around and doing stuff in a non-linear way. No pressure. Any other recommendations?

A friend gave me all his Wii stuff, which was a favorite back in the day at dinner parties. I look forward to some tennis and bowling now that we're all vaccinated. (Right? We're all vaccinated, right?)
I got my wife Animal Crossing and she loves it, too. She can't wait to play with our kid, but that'll be in a few years. She desperately wants me to play, but I consider AC a hardcore game that requires too much time.

Two switch games I would recommend checking out: Spiritfarer - you help spirits travel to the underworld. You basically take over the position from Charon and you have a pet cat. The other is Grindstone. It's a puzzle game and kind of an adventure game. The music is great, plus an 8 year old would probably find it hilarious. The first few levels are pretty easy, but it gets exponentially hard.
We LOVED Spiritfarer. I am going to start playing it again (when things calm down).

It was beautiful, emotional, insightful. I sobbed taking a few of the spirits to the Everdoor.

Metaphor is keeping me very occupied in the limited time i have. The bosses are supremely grotesque and fantastic. A very imaginative and classically minded fantasy world. I love these games like fun books.

Picked up the dragon quest 3 remaster for switch yesterday and have already somehow put 6 hours into it. My son is in bed and it’s time to get into it again. Pure comfort food.

Last boss is a bit difficult if you don't pay attention.
Dumb question I'm sure, but did you play Prey? The Arkane imsim.
Was about the best game of the previous generation, in my estimation. That's true for me and few other people.

I adore Prey, and if I wasn't inundated with new games and the recent installation of a Switch emulator I'd load it up right now.

Give me vents, locked doors I can come back to later, and 3x damage from a sneak attack and I am in heaven.
