I can't get past this just being hilarious. Like, ethically it's dead wrong but standing by to watch Magas lose their shit about how the president shouldn't just keep his own people out of jail.... priceless. Maybe if Joe had played a little dirtier two years ago we could have gotten some people brought to justice instead of more dodging it.

Are they upset? I would have thought they love this shit, pretty much definitive proof for the "Biden Crime Family" conspiracy set. "Crooked Joe" being guilty of everything imagined and more. This pardon hiding even more nefarious goings-on.
Joe would have better off just falling on his sword and playing the sympathy card about not wanting to lose a second son. Even better delivered in a meandering video message filled with his signature senior-moments. Or better yet just rolled this in as part of the Turkey pardons.
Otherwise this seemed like a foregone conclusion. My only "what-if?" thought is whether he would have sacrificed Hunter had he won the election. Biblically speaking, I think he'd have been obligated.

It really highlights the hypocrisy of the right wing cretins who think every one of Trump's charges were politically-motivated. Oligarch crooks won't see justice in this country.
We're headed for social anarchy when people start pissing on bookstores.

He's been 100% used as a political pawn....but "targeted unfairly" might be a stretch. That guy was a privileged train-wreck with a golden parachute, so lets do save the victim card for somebody more deserving. I think that's actually the worst part of that statement. The presumption that he believes in the justice system emphatically, except for this one case, where it is actually unfair.

The moment I learned that photos of Hunter at his lowest point were displayed in Congress as part of the fascists' "investigation" was when I decided, as a father myself, to not give a solitary, husky fuck when Biden pardoned him. It's an official act, and their Supreme Court has given the President carte blanche, so why should I concern myself?

No-brainer, adhering to some "rule of law" nonsense here was always the wrong thing to do.
Great, why didn't Joe start with actual incarcerated people who didn't get a fair shake in that case? Also, can I not pay my taxes either? Because that would be terrific.
