I mean, of all the terrible ideas, at least Desantis has run something big like the State of Florida. He's still a piece of shit, the bar is pretty low.

We're going to get a cabinet comprised of the Florida Man.

I guess Ron is better than an inebriated Fox host with Christian nationalist tattoos. The bar is extremely fucking low, like you said.
We're headed for social anarchy when people start pissing on bookstores.

I'm guessing that Trump threw up the most ridiculous candidates just to make the second choices seem more palatable. And I'm going to assume that wasn't really his idea, more like Miller or Bannon or even Roger Stone, because those guys are actually smart. Trump is just brash.

No-brainer, adhering to some "rule of law" nonsense here was always the wrong thing to do.
Great, why didn't Joe start with actual incarcerated people who didn't get a fair shake in that case? Also, can I not pay my taxes either? Because that would be terrific.
you don't have to pay your taxes. try it and see how it goes

Not sure where you're going with this, but I imagine that it would end much like Hunter's experience, but without the pardon. I struggle to see how anybody (other than his parents) could have anything but zero sympathy for a nepo-baby millionaire who drags other people down with him, including his love child. There are limits to what an addiction can absolve you of, and he has easily exceeded those.

do it, no one's making you pay them

what a nepo baby, with his money and whatever. why on earth didn't all that make up for his dead mom and brother, filling the hole they left in him, not to do drugs like a fool. one must be punished for such awful transgressions.

Dude, if you're suffering, I'm genuinely sorry, and all the best to you. I hope you find both peace and a lasting joy. I am lucky enough to not suffer from addiction, but I have loved ones who do, and I recognize the struggle. That said, even within that category we must prioritize and Hunter Biden comes in at the very very bottom for all the reasons already stated....slimy rich entrepreneur, possessing the ultimate safety net, ruining innocent peoples' lives with egregious intent. These are not crimes of an addict. These are the crimes of an asshole.

But unless you've hacked the Matrix, yes, somebody is making me pay taxes. An employer isn't even allowed to withhold 0% from your weekly paycheck.... and then on to the legal enforcement and so on. It is clearly a crime to do otherwise, as illustrated here by Hunter's experience.
