1. Not let the bastards live rent-free in my head
2. More creativity
3. A better relationship with my family. Right now there are a lot of people not speaking to each other.
4. Facebook goes the way of Myspace
5. Rain
Re: Hopes for 2025
12My wife made a list of things she'd like to do, so we started this very conversation.
First and foremost, I am going to try to not follow politics that closely for the foreseeable future. Trump wants the dog and pony show, and we're all forced to live in the paradise of cult members. It's just not worth paying attention to the intentional chaos. I want to focus on my family, health and happiness. My youngest just turned 1, so we're not so glued to the house and we don't plan on having more kids. We are starting to reclaim our time.
I hope to have more time to exercise. I could stand to lose at least 15 lbs, which is a reasonable and achievable goal.
I want to get better at guitar. My wife got me a book on chords for Christmas that I think will help out. I would also like to play a show or two and finally record this album that's been written for 5 years. (We recently brought back into the fold one of our OG members, so we've been reworking some songs to fit him in).
I hope that now that our kids are getting a little older, my wife and I have a little bit more time for each other. Last year was fucking hard and stressful with a newborn/baby. Despite all the dumb arguments, we have been trying hard to be better parents and partners. What we've been lacking is some quality time together.

Re: Hopes for 2025
14Hard disagree
Wanting to move to Florida is a DUMB desire and I don't actually hope to do that this year
Hoping to lose 20 pounds this year, while possibly unrealistic, is NOT a dumb desire
(or was this a joke, i.e., you actually hope to have a "Hot tub filled with Dilaudid and a lobotomy" in 2025? In that case, LOL)

Re: Hopes for 2025
17Moving to Florida in 2025? More like Escape from Orlando. Kurt Russell is old enough to live there now.
We're headed for social anarchy when people start pissing on bookstores.

18I expect some of the greatest artists of the this century to be born this year.
