Evidently, the version available for streaming is bowlderized, but the Chicago Public Library has the uncut DVD.

Watched Moonfall again, and at the end John Bradley's character's sacrifice still made me weepy.

Watched The Creator. Fell asleep, but woke up towards the end which made me weepy.

The Dead Don't Die: heavy-handed and disappointing. The older I get the more I don't care for Bill Murray. Would go for a Stripes reboot. Everyone dead tho.

The Cabin in the Woods: still great, but I've always wondered how zombies, in general, are able to punch through coffins and six feet of wet, wet mud to get to the surface. And what about those in mausoleums? A single one can't even break down a door on its own. I'm talking real zombos not fast zippy ones cause those aren't zombies

We watched Kneecap last night after kinda avoiding it for a while ("This can't be that good, there is no way").

I was way wrong! It was super fucking funny. Insane pace (the pace created by someone much younger than myself I suspect). Helped that I read about 8 books about the IRA in the last few years.

You might watch his most recent film, Do Not Expect Too Much from the End of the World. I really enjoyed it.
I also remember really appreciating Aferim.

And that's only if the casket isn't in a vault (thick plastic bonded to concrete with butyl tape, with about a 700 lb. lid) or outer burial container (usually solid concrete).

We saw Hard Truths in the theatre this weekend - it was great!

Rewatched 28 Days Later.. as my friend hasdn't seen it. Still completely holds up due in part to the brilliant script.

Plane movies:

Duel (1971), early Steven Spielberg. Good film. Very tense! The use of music was a bit odd, at times, and just sound effects might have been better, but worth seeing for sure.

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare by Guy Ritchie. Totally great *plane* movie.

Daddio, with Dakota Johnson and Sean Penn. Pretty good.

Also, Duel is amazing. Spielberg’s best movies are those in which he doesn’t have a limitless budget. I also quite liked The Fablemans.
