Having a majority, in a representative government, without actual representation, is meaningless. If the DNC wants to win on any level, they must directly oppose corporations on behalf of workers and retired people. That's going to take time, even if all Democrat lawmaker were on board, which we all know they aren't. They either need to represent us, or lose their jobs. Many need to lose their job anyway, for breaking the public trust.

Thank you for cleaning this up. It caught my brain (my wife and I both work with kids with ASD) but I was too lazy and distracted to address it.

Now this is more realistic. Protest without action is meaningless. But people have to be willing to go to jail in order to do this effectively, and also be willing to engage in physical conflict to protect each other.
