I don’t care about what prose people use, I care about the truth and recognizing reality and the consequences that are unfolding as a result. We had a pages long argument about whether or not Musk was a Nazi and with people remaining unconvinced and then *of course* he appears on video for a German far-right party and talks about getting past the shame of the Holocaust and people *still* won’t admit they were wrong. It’s beyond frustrating

Also, once again more pearls clutched on my calling for violence *against the very people in power who are currently USING violence on people like me and my entire community and other marginalized people and getting away with it*. We would be satisfied if they simply stopped lying about us, oppressing, and killing us. They won’t be satisfied until people like me are completely eradicated. We aren’t the fucking same.

Is it OK to recommend a teensy bit of violence towards towards white supremacists, Nazis, Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, law enforcement, etc when met with having to defend your physical safety? Like, is it OK to stand your ground?

Self defense isn't violence.

'Stand your ground' is not self defense, in many states. To say that differently, in 22 states of the union, you can't proactively defend yourself.

I'm pretty sure Chicago isn't a stand your ground city.

Who determines who is “qualified” to use violence? I want to use it to protect my life and my loved ones and other trans people from extermination. Maga wants to use it to exterminate people like me and forcibly remove the bodily autonomy of people when it comes to their sex and reproduction. If you look at these two instances and equate, then I’m sorry, but I think you’re a fucking piece of shit.
