I’m not sure what you’re trying to say, but I think a plug-in is great because it gives access to people who can’t afford the unit now that collectors have driven the price through the roof.

Also, the plugin is just a Plugin of the actual reissued hardware box of the Level Loc, a box going for well over a grand on the used market, now re-issued with modern features made in collaboration with Black lion (for the hardware version) and Korneff (for the Plugin). Its a cool and fun project that I think was a good idea. I want one. The fact that Matt was one of the guys fighting to make it happen made me grin because... of course it was. It's also a fun thing for sure to do for an anniversary project and I wish they would have reissued the M68 mixer (with direct outs) and the M63 Induction Master EQ as well. That Trio would have been fucking awesome.

Level Loc has been out of the bag for a long time. We all know what it's for. They just needed a dude to talk about it on video, and why not that guy? He has talked about using it a lot, forever. Could have easily had Dave Friedman talking about Flaming Lips drum sound on Transmissions, or like a Vice Principal from the 70's talking about how there was one in the Gym plugged into the Bogen PA system. Marketing... what are you going to do? I still think its a pretty cool thing to put out. How many fucking 1176 clones can you really stand? Gimme Level Loc for an obtainable price. It's cool weird shit. I'll take that Bogen PA amp as well.

Eh, this is kinda cool. Too bad it's Windows only (or maybe you could install Linux?), but it's less than a Quad Cortex and does 1000x as much.
