(In truth, the performance last night was kinda joyous. I’ve only gone to the Thursday Green Mill performance a couple times, but I always leave feeling just wonderful.)

Went to the protest at the TX Capitol today. There was a lot of naysaying in the lead up to the protest (organized by bad actors, not enough info, etc), but it proved to be a peaceful and powerful demonstration, and I was proud to be a part of it. I needed to see and feel that level of solidarity. There were at least a couple thousand there, probably more.

Right on!

Just made an appointment with a podiatrist. Big toe joint pain that's been everpresent because I'm getting old and my bones are deteriorating. Might have to start wearing a big shoe.
