I love that movie where a racist old white guy is redeemed after he murders a bunch of Hispanic dudes. He was just misunderstood, even though he mind fucks an Asian family for the entire movie. Solid filmmaking right there.
Fucking cunt.

12Having never watched an Eastwood-directed film I have nothing of substance to add to this thread, but as a kid I did enjoy that movie with the orang outan.
Justice for Emily Pike, Sam Nordquist, Randall Adjessom, Javion Magee, Destinii Hope, Kelaia Turner, Dexter Wade and Nakari Campbell

14Look at all that acting. What the fuck happened to this guy? Jesus. He was in TGBU, for fuck sake, and he kept up with both Eli Wallach and LVC. It's fucking sad.zorg wrote: Mon Feb 10, 2025 11:43 amAttackChimp wrote: Mon Feb 10, 2025 9:13 am I love that movie where a racist old white guy is redeemed after he murders a bunch of Hispanic dudes. Re: Director: Clint Eastwood
15I don't really see what you're talking about. Dirty Harry is a murderous cop, and "The Good" is a bounty hunter trying to profit off the civil war. He's made a career out of playing antiheros. So a racist grampa who finds redemption doesn't really seem too far out of place here. That said I think Gran Torino is pretty crap otherwise, Clint performance carries it the best it can.. He should play an elderly Batman. Finally a superhero movie I would pay to see.AttackChimp wrote: Mon Feb 10, 2025 11:54 am Look at all that acting. What the fuck happened to this guy? Jesus. 16I'm saying he's shown himself to be a superb actor (TGBU). Play Misty For Me is a fucking insanely good movie. I find him miscast in most roles.
He gets a pass for PMFM and TGBU. I completely forgot he directed Misty, so I'm gunna watch that again.
Re: Director: Clint Eastwood
17Not crap for Every Which Way but Loose.
I want to do a poll on Sean Connery playing non-Scottish characters with a Scottish accent.

We're headed for social anarchy when people start pissing on bookstores.

He did not actually direct it.
