Peter Cosey's playing with Miles is incredible, incredible stuff. He seems underappreciated as a player, or maybe a "player's player" (which can be the same thing)

yes that is pete, and yes it is apex predator activity

there's a spot in Prelude Pt 1 on Agharta that is, literally, the greatest electric guitar playing I have ever heard in my life

insane post-hendrix wah strangulation that hits about five or six peaks in a row, unbelievable, absolutely blew my mind the first time i heard it

he does many other, only marginally less awe-inspiring things on the other japan recs

Yeah! Pretty distinctive use of wah too, way more heel down than most. (solo around 5 min mark)
