This was the first record I bought with my own money, at a store called the American Pants Company. They sold jeans, records, and probably the roach clips with feathers that high school girls wore in their hair when walking on the wild side.

Hey shithead. You see all the turds dropped in this thread? Maybe these people deserve your fucking lame ass condescension also. No? Can't virtue signal off it?

Motherfucker has to say shit. He's offended by people dropping hot dook in other people's threads. Half the posts on this site are turd-drops. Gimme a fucking break with your superior bullshit.

I *think* there was a contentious exchange between these two in another thread.

Folks are on edge these days. Understandably so.

I criticized AttackChimp's behavior in a different thread (Hex's thread about deleting their account). AttackChimp then sent me an angry DM and called me names in this (unrelated) thread.

FWIW, I have fond memories of hearing Good Times Roll played as the soundtrack to an amusement park ride whose name and decor changed over the years.

Politely?

Anyone tossing "Virtue Signal..." out there?

Come on with that nonsense.

Just What I Needed is probably my favorite straight-up pop song.

What kills me about this record is how highly tailored it is as a FM radio hit machine. Every song has the talk up intro. Every song has the cross fade/hard out outro. Every song has a sizzling lead.

Still, with all that corporate influence, it's a rather amazing LP.
