no, they won't. you're both dreaming up nightmare scenarios because you almost appeared to care about sick texans.
Thanks for trolling, Aynvermectin.
you've made your point now. you can stop. some people deserve hospital beds and some don't.

Dreaming up? I work in the emergency department at the level I trauma center that receives everything from the regional hospitals all over the upper midwest, most of which completely bypass the busy hospitals in the cities for transfers to a higher level of care and send their transfers directly to us. The rural EDs - that is, the ones that survived the mass closures of rural hospitals because they were fortunate enough to be bought by larger health systems - ship pretty much anything more serious than a band aid to us (to the point where the whole ED jokes that they collectively comprise our extended waiting room) and then social work has to figure out how to get these patients to their homes 300 or 500 miles away in the middle of the night when inevitably there is no medical reason to admit them to the hospital. ED social work also devotes some of our FTE to the midwest admissions and transfer center, where we screen incoming referrals from hospitals all over the globe. In other words, I know exactly what's coming in at any given time. We're hiring if you want to find out for yourself.

In short: go pound sand. Perhaps your overconfident snark might fool your peers who don't know any better, but the trick is that here you're often interacting with real-life professionals who actually deal with these realities on a day-to-day basis. I suggest you might want to consider that possibility from here out (especially when people have their credentials in their signature, Jesus, that was practically handed to you).

i still don't see how that has anything to do with ivermectin and who gets to prescribe it.

This would all be a lot clearer if you would explain what is valuable about humans using this drug, and why we'd want to expand its accessibility.

Even more to ask, could you be reflective enough to identify what subculture you subscribe to that attaches itself to this particular substance and would make you bristle at its mockery?

At some point political courage means going beyond "I'm just asking questions" and acknowledges "I'm asking these specific questions because this is what I value".

The problem with hcain@of's terse, dismissive responses are that he's touting some libertarian drug-legalization rationale while completely glossing over the greater rights impinged upon in human-Ivermectin states. If you're gonna Ayn Rand a motherfucker, buy it whole hog and don't cherry-pick to fit your narrative.
We're headed for social anarchy when people start pissing on bookstores.

Ayn Rand died on welfare.

Just saying 😉
