There is no place in the entire multiverse where Korn are even better than Limp Bizkit.

Never mind Deftones.
You're entitled to your opinion, but, begrudgingly, it's Korn. I'll have to get back to you on whether Deftones or Limp Bizkit is better. Don't hold your breath on that one.

We're headed for social anarchy when people start pissing on bookstores.

I got as far as googling a list of nu-metal bands, but couldn't bring myself to take it any further. Sorry. I guess I should feel lucky that I'm old enough that I can't call this genre part of my youthful indiscretions... At the same time, it really was a hard transition from the relative promise of the 90's. Even then....so this isn't just old man talk, hearing the likes of Incubus was soul-crushing and repellant even when you're like 20.

Holy cow this sucks!

I will stand by Korn as the titans of nu-metal. I listened to the Deftones "Shut Up and Drive" (sounds like idiot's first smashing pumpkins riff, bullshit vocals) and then compared it to a lesser known Korn song, "Ball Tongue." "Ball Tongue" is way fucking funnier and stupid and thoroughly unselfconscious. That dumbass bass tone clack, the meth addled vocals, the guitars doing DJ noises. I wouldn't quite call it fun. But I feel affectionate for it, and they were very important for 6th grade Heath. I bought Sepultura records because of an interview with Fieldy! That's something dude! I don't even like My Bloody Valentine! Shit!

One other thing...

(Serious as I can be about this sort of thing...)

Korn is about as "Basic..."/"First Day/Kindergarten..." as it gets.

At least get out into the weeds until they are about knee deep.

While those lyrics ain't gonna win you a Pulitzer?

At least it sounds like a halfway decent band playing together.

Unlike Korn.

You're talking about "Bullshit..." vocals while saying Korn are titans.

We are actually in "This Might Call For An Intervention..." territory here.

You guys are making me feel bad for kind of liking this band.

Kinda.
