It would, perhaps, make sense for me to create a poll about the first film as well; or maybe make a poll about the trilogy (assuming "Beyond the Spider-Verse" will be the end).
But I don't really think about the first film at all, and I believe viewing the proposed trilogy as a whole would dilute the overall awesomeness of this entry.
I love this film so much; they improved and expanded upon everything that made the first entry good, while also telling a much better story--even though the story hasn't truly reached its conclusion.
I can't imagine a lot of people voting "crap" on this, but maybe there are people who are far less effusive about this film than I am.
Re: Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
2Both films are pieces of innovative and exciting comic book cinema floating in a rising tide of mediocre crap. I check out most everything at some point, even if it's just to fold laundry, or grade papers to. The Spider Verse thing is so great in a way that live action could never be.

3I wasn't aware there is a sequel, the first one could be the best thing to come out of the Marveleverse
Re: Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
4Haven't seen it, but if it's better than the first one then damn, cause that first one is just great. The big battle scene at the end is some serious psychedelic business.

5I loved both of these. There's been some really great animation innovations the past few years. The last Puss In Boots was very similar (and also great).
My friend's wife is a director and she's been working on Marvel and DC shows. She just directed a few episodes of Spider Noir with Nicholas Cage. Looking forward to seeing how that turns out!
