IIRC I got glasses when I was 13, and my prescription hardly changed at all from then until about 5yrs ago (early 40s). Since then, I've needed slight adjustments every year or two, I've had to get progressives, and most recently my lower Rx went from clear to slight adjustment. Your eyes get worse, they get fatigued more easily, and I think people in their mid/late -40s right now are probably the first cohort who have spent the majority of their lives glued to screens so god only knows how fucked our eyes are going to get, seems like uncharted territory.

Unfortunately, this is normal. I have terrible far-sided vision, but my near-sided has been great up until last year (47). In fact, my eye doctor said I should consider "baby progressives" to train my eyes before they went over the edge. Not a few weeks later, my wife noticed when I was using my old, non-progressive glasses, I was pushing them up on my head while trying to read my phone. I hadn't even noticed! Then, those baby progressives weren't enough, so I had to get a new pair of glasses. Crazy how quickly it all went down.

However, I don't even notice since I am used to wearing glasses all the time.

Possibly the least exciting question in the history of this thread.

Do any of you have experience of the TC Electronic Polytune, in its various different incarnations? I don't know if there any other "poly tuners" or if "poly tuning" actually works? I feel like the slowest tuner in the world, always anxiously checking between songs, and kinda fantasize about being able to hit all six strings at once and instantly see which need attention, but it seems too good to be true. If it worked, it feels like it would be much more widely implemented.

I have the clip on version. It’s great for seeing if any string is way out and then tuning that one individually. However, I would not trust the accuracy of tuning fully in the polyphonic mode. It’s a solid tuner, though, and I like it as much as a Korg or TU-2.

HOWEVER, since I got it, TC has been purchased by Behringer. I do not engage in commerce with anything owned by the big B. Your mileage may vary.

I only used the first version and it worked, but I found it hard to see with my failing eyes. So far I haven't found a tuner I like better than the Korg Pitchblack tuner as far as working great and being very visible in any light. Polytune is a cool thing, if not kinda not necessary. I can't turn more than one peg at a time so I'm not so sure how much more useful it is than any standard tuner.

In live settings, very much so. You only have to strike the strings once to tune them all in a short period of time if needed.
Nothing major here. Just a regular EU cock. I pull it out and there is beans all over my penis. Bean shells all over my penis...
