I'm loving Chicago's Teklife scene and Footwork in general as well as all the Dance Mania stuff that came before it. Not Crap

2Now you're just making shit up...
Nothing major here. Just a regular EU cock. I pull it out and there is beans all over my penis. Bean shells all over my penis...
Re: Music Genre: Footwork
4It's like worse versions of Orb songs.
NC?
NC?
Re: Music Genre: Footwork
7Has been a very distinctive thing for way more than a decade, and it sounds nothing like The Orb. Sometimes I forget rockism exists, then...

It's ok to not know things, you don't have to pretend the reason is that they're irrelevant, otherwise you'd know.

Re: Music Genre: Footwork
8Ignorant question:Is there a relevant difference between footwork and juke? Anyway, nc with waffles (a little goes a long way though that might be me getting old) and as stated not a new thing/term either;I first became aware of it on the okayplayer boards some 15-20 years ago.
Re: Music Genre: Footwork
9I'd argue that early on there wasn't much of a difference between juke and footwork, and I should mention that I've never been much of a fan of either. Both come from ghetto house - another subgenre that passed me by. That said, when DJ Deeon passed a couple of years ago I found a phenomenal track from him called "Da Bomb" in which I can clearly hear where ghetto house inspires footwork.
As for the genre it doesn't do much for me outside of the rare tune. I dig tracks that'll make you jack. Footwork is too speedy for my personal tastes, but I couldn't vote crap on an entire genre of music unless it was reggaeton. No shade to Bad Bunny! Just musically isn't my thing.
