I'd rather be throwing darts.
Maybe it's a an FBI operation.Krev wrote: Mon Dec 01, 2025 4:40 pm I really think this whole "general strike" concept is pie-in-the-sky shit, but it would put a hurting on our beloved oligarchs.
The temperature is rising. If hegseth doesn’t learn some impulse control in the next few weeks he could be gone.enframed wrote: Mon Dec 01, 2025 8:59 am
Yes, I agree with all of this. I was just pointing out the blatant propaganda which feels to me like a defensive position, especially after killing two guys hanging onto an already blown-up, by us, boat. Seems to me like killing prisoners at that point.
Sounds like Trump may be throwing Hegseth under the bus shortly anyway.
Any trial of Hegseth for war crimes ought to wait until Trump leaves office.
I've seen predictions of the US economy shrinking by almost 20% in the next 3 years from the immigration policy alone. When you chuck in the downturn in tourism, tariff chaos etc. disaster could well be the right word.cakes wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 9:47 am Anybody read reports on the economic impact of the immigration policy? It seems we might need to brace for disaster.

On paper it’s going to be awesome for three years, so keep that in mindKrev wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 11:40 am Well, half the voting assholes wanted this fucking disaster. Otherwise, they wouldn't have elected a demented sociopath and his cadre of Botox'd cronies. Our economy is fucked.

Yep. I've read some totally moderate, mainstream journalism and the immigration policy is costing us billions in growth. These fools think a handful of Catholics and Calvinists can outfuck a closed border as our population stagnates. The mythology of what America is and how immigration works is a real problem. Foreign born energy and work ethic has powered this country from its beginning.Curry Pervert wrote: Tue Dec 02, 2025 11:38 amI've seen predictions of the US economy shrinking by almost 20% in the next 3 years from the immigration policy alone.
