OH these came my way in January and I finally got a chance to throw them in my Meatsmoke at practice. Definitely a noticeable difference in volume & headroom even with drums & guitar going on at the same time; drummer said he could notice I was a little louder without having adjusted any knobs.tallchris wrote: Fri Sep 05, 2025 2:23 pm Ordered a quad of the Verellen Octal power amp tube replacement thing. The quad of Tung-Sol 6550s that was in that amp are a decade old, and I can't see putting them back in the amp anytime soon unless I do some more formal A/Bing at some point. Still need to try them out in my other amps!
