I have an aging Sytek mpx4aii with fussy gain pots. Deox It and exercise can wake them up again but it doesn't seem a lasting solution. If I could get a local tech to replace the pots I'm pretty sure it'd be 100%.
I tried to get these Schems about 10 years ago from the Neotek/Sytek guy but never got a response.
Was Japmn.

I have a Arturia Keylab 88 and two Yamaha Refaces.

I want to switch to between the two Refaces. I guess I need a simple box. How do I do that?

I don’t want to complicate this very much. All I really care about is the keys. I do drawbar manipulation/sound changing on the Refaces themselves, and then the Refaces go out to either a DI or amp.
Just like an A/B box to select which Reface is going to the DI/amp?

FM llllllllllllllllllll, I think this does what you're asking? You're trying to control the 2 different Refaces with the one Arturia midi kbd, right?

nb: I don't have this unit so this advice is worth about as much as the AI summary Google gives you now, even if I didn't use AI and sourced it directly from another forum myself : https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=310809

Yes, maybe even something like an A/B/Y w/ more outputs for standard midi cables, preferably with a switch I can hit with my hands.

Haha! The steel guitar forum is one of my old haunts, at least when Susan Alcorn was alive. She was a breath of fresh air among all those old guys.

I’ll check out that sweetwater link, looks to be about it except I don’t really understand how the output can be switched between one out or another - there’s a video I’ll watch first.

Making another TL-606 cab for Danny of Sewing Needle and realized I am finally out of my supply of baltic birch. This will be a finished stained & poly cab similar to an Emperor or whatever, no Duratex/torlex.

Checking w/ wood nerds here: is Birch still the only game in town for marriage of sturdy + weight? Big Box lumber has maple and oak that would be beautiful but holy shit they are both super heavy.

I'm wondering what those new crazy-ass lift-with-your-pinky bass cabs are made of, because it sure as hell cannot be 3/4" birch plywood. Assuming they haven't all dried out and crumbled up, I do have several boxes of veneers that I have never used that I could cover anything with. No experience w/ veneers though so hopefully learning curve isn't too steep.

(Also: Still feel a little sad to not have a WAY out in the weeds reply from FMBD to look forward to)

Not a wood dork, but looks like the Mesa Subway cabs are built with Italian Poplar. My bandmate has a Mojotone Lite Series 2x12 and that's made out of pine, except for the baffle.
