I feel bad for anyone who's a hardcore GBV/side-projects/etc etc. follower. You'll never be able to collect it all before you die...

62I forgot Jim Shepard/V-3/Vertical Slit. I have most of that stuff, though I'm missing a few things that I've never seen for sale.
The GBV comments reminded me of the late Mr. Shepard.

I order that you be taken from this court, henceforth to a place of confinement, there to dwell in perpetual fear of being chibbed and humped by rabid schemies.

65Anything Luke Haines related (ie: Auteurs, Baader Meinhof, Black Box Recorder, and solo stuff)
Also, anything Roybn Hitchcock related (ie: The Soft Boys, solo stuff)
I'm still working on that collection, there's so much.
When I was younger, and thought I was punk rock - I collected nearly everything by Crass and on Crass Records

66i don't collect rarities, duplicates in different formats, or singles. also i'm only listing bands with a big discography or a lot of side projects -- other cases don't really fit this thread. but, in roughly chronological order from age 13 to now:
primus
king crimson
king missile
residents
mr. bungle (few albums, so i went to side projects with mostly disappointing results)
ruins
uz jsme doma
sleepytime gorilla museum (few albums, so i went to side projects with mostly disappointing results)
cheer accident
meshuggah (why on earth can't i find their classic totally-not-obscure album "destroy, erase, improve" in philly stores? i have everything but that and "rare trax", which i can probably do without)
i also have a lot of swans and a lot of depeche mode, and more diamanda galas than i want to keep cause i was looking for her stuff, couldn't find it, and found like 5 albums used and bought them all in one fell swoop, when really all i need to keep is "litanies of satan", "malediction and prayer", and the one with john paul jones... i'll probably never listen to "red masque" or "plague mass"...

67There were a handful of bands that I aspired to own eevrything by, because I considered evertything they did worthwhile in some fashion, and then I got to the point where I didn't remember whether I owned something when I found it in a store..
that was the time when I decided to let go of such aspirations.
I still forget what I already own in stores though, and it drives me upset.

68AC/DC is kind of my collecting thing. Ever since I found out that the Australian issues of the LPs have different songs on them, I've been trying to track the missing songs down. I thought the Bonfire box would finally compile them, but instead they put the Back In Black album in there. Brilliant. Anyway, I'm still missing the Australian import version of Let there Be Rock with the song "Crapsody In Blue" on it.
By the way, Cheer-Accident completists should contact me - I probably have some of the rarest stuff you can imagine and/or hallucinate.

You don't have an extra copy of the 'Wanderer/Whoa Complains' single, do you? I have it burned, but I'd like to find the real thing.
