Will Clemens Get Traded?

Early rumors said he was going back to New York, now apperently the White Sox are interested. Personally I don't think he's going anywhere.

I swear, if the Yankees trade Cano or Wang for anybody, I give up on that team.

The Astros have begun their ascent of the National League Central division early this year - just before the All-Star break. As of this writing (just after a 5-4 squeaker of a win over the Padres, at home, natch), I think that the Astros are a game under .500. Not bad, considering they were well on their way to a 100+ loss season. Berkman's returning to form after being laid up for the first month or so of the season, Ensberg is among the league leaders in home runs and RBI, the offense all around is finally producing runs for Clemens, and Oswalt is looking like a bonafide Cy Young contender. The Astros' season is shaping up to be an interesting one. We'll see how they do the second half of the season.

That's because of the 10 year, multi-thousand dollar contract he signed with HEB.

The Astros are doing better, but I don't think it'll last...

I follow the Astros pretty closely - they used to be my "hometown team" of sorts - before Nolan Ryan moved the AAA Astros (Zephyrs) from New Orleans to Round Rock, TX last year. I've had Pettitte, Berkman, and Ensberg on my fantasy baseball team all season long and they are hugely responsible for recently moving my team into second place.

Considering the Astros are a small market team and have to share their division with the Cards, they are hanging tough. Go 'Stros. I can't stand Clemens though. I know we need him but I like to pretend he's not really there.

clemens is a straight up stud. sad to see his last years wasted by playing with the astros. with his era this year he should be leading the majors in wins. plus, he’s hitting like .285 too. he’s a bad, bad man. we are all very lucky to have lived during the time he has pitched cause he’ll probably go down in the top 5 ever.
