Unless the White Sox begin to play much better baseball very soon, then this phrase will soon represent their playoffs chances as well.

Carl Everett has just made an unforgivable baserunning error by overrounding third base and getting picked off -- with two outs. This reminds me that Joey Cora is the worst third base coach whom I have ever seen. If I managed the White Sox, I would walk out of the dugout and fire him on the spot.

This is the second egregious baserunning error that Carl Everett has made in the past week. Last Friday, Carl Everett was doubled off of first base -- with a runner (the winning run!) on second -- on a line drive to the second baseman with one out.

Now let's see some classic Ozzie thinking today. He'll try to "get his starter a win". I hate this thinking. I hate this phrase.

Gone, nothing.

On the bright side, Carl Everett got a hit! Which would be the third in about his last thirty at bats. Carl Everett, who complains he only sees one good pitch to hit every at bat!
There are crispy fries waiting to come out of your oven: you just have to make them and put them there.

Dye bobbling that hit last night ended up costing the game.
Dropping 2/3 to the Royals is beyond unacceptable.
Paulie looked sick at the plate last night.

On an unrelated note, did anybody catch Michael Barrett take one off the grape last night? Unsettling to see him being escorted off the field by Dusty Baker although it looked like it glanced off the helmet.
