Better than nothing.
NOT CRAP.
Band: Foo Fighters
13I liked The Colour And The Shape, but I was twelve years old when I got it. They've released some real drivel since, in fact, most of what they have released is drivel.

14While I agree with most of the above sentiments that they are not very good yet far from despicable, I must say that, back in '95 when they first started out, they were a terrible dissapointment to me and a probably a lot of other 16-year old Nirvana kiddies.
Upon first hearing that Grohl was going to start something with Pat Smear, I remembier thinking, damn, it's probably going to be some good shit. It never occurred to me that a band led by Grohl could fail to rock so utterly.
Around that time I was also dissapointed by the fact that Novoselic's project, Sweet 75, failed to materialize into a real band.
Oh well. I was 16, and shortly thereafter started getting into way better shit.

That being said, they have a handful of really awesome songs that most bands will never com close to touching: "Everlong" "Enough Space" "Learn To Fly" "Aurora" plus a b-side called "How I Miss You" that completely slays......still in most instances they are one of the more in-offensive generic rock bands.
NOT CRAPHandful
