man i fucking hate this band. hate'm.
for whatever reason we've had mtv on the past couple days and i swear EVERY SINGLE COMMERCIAL BREAK they play tegan and sarah in some form. i wish that i was exaggerating but unfortunately i am not. i don't get it. i mean they are pushing the fuck out of these cocksuckers. did mtv buy tegan and sarah? actually, in some commercial breaks they play a t&s spot twice! maybe more! it's insane!!!!
the first time i heard these girls was a couple of years ago. their name intrigued me and i was hoping for some fun girl pop. then i listened and it just sounded like shittier, hipper ani difranco. no kidding. not so much now but holy shit. i really effin hate tegan and sarah (the product). i HATE'M!

Or Chromeo, who are still riding the Electroclash "wave" that began and ended in Williamsburg 5 years ago or so, despite not being electroclash or from New York.
