Small Diaphram Matched Pair Condensers

Yeah, I've heard most people describe the NT5's as dark, so I'm not shure about using then for acoustic guitar or brushed snare, although they seem to be very quiet. I posted the same on Tape-Op, and the moderator suggested a pair of Octavas with the changable diapmram. These look promising and in my price range (he also suggested a pair of 84's!) Anyone used these, and if so, did you get the Factory Matched Pair or the Hand Matched Pair. I'm not shure what the differnce would be, but the Factory pair are more expensive.

Depending on what pre you run them/it through they (NT5s) sound very good on guitar and brushed snare.

Naturally there's better sdcs out there but I like these. I tried the MXL sdc and thought "meh".
