Speaking of Silverchair, they're back and were on a talk show sometime this week. I didn't watch it, but I suspect they've got to be pushing at least 27 by now.

If my memory serves me correctly some media article back in the 1990s stated that Fuzz used a phaser and a distortion pedal to get that lurverly guitar sound.

The gentleman in question was a fixture at London hardcore-related gigs in the 90s. He was (is?) a professional fireman/firefighter who did terrifying performance-art involving flames and chainsaws.

I believe the gentleman in question was Bingo the famed Birthday Party fan. I saw him at several Silverfish gigs in London dressed in such fine attire, and I once saw Bingo doing a stage act involving an angle grinder and some homemade body armour during a performance by the band Headcleaner. An extremely pleasant chap indeed.

I enjoy this band.

I found a copy of Organ Fan laying around in my dad's CD collection a few years ago... he doesn't know how it got there either. I've been a fan ever since.
