Bob: Shipping News' Flies the Fields is one of the most amazing sounding records ever. All the Polvo stuff, too.

i think Nina Nastasia's "Blackened Air" is the best sounding recording I have ever heard. It is astounding.
The new Make Believe sounds quite stellar as well.
