This behavior is very strange!

Saturday Night Live is a show that seemingly has to be on the air, or life as we know it will end. It should have gone away a long time ago, but there is this weird insistence that it must stay on.

It has to stay on the air, and people who are on the show have to make terrible movies starring bad characters that they created for the show.

I do not understand.

You and I both would laugh more at a Carson re-run than a new SNL.

Especially if Foster Brooks was one of Johnny's guests. That guy knew how to pretend to be drunk.

I think that's more along the lines of what I meant. I mean, I guess by modern SNL standards its funny but I wasn't really looking at it in that context. I just saw a mediocre segment.

Then again, I'm of the ilk that would believe Will Farell was never really funny on his entire tenure of that show. My brand of sketch comedy is more along the lines of The State or Mr. Show.

Mr. Show wouldn't work on basic cable, but if there were a petition to have The State reunite and replace SNL, I'd fucking sign it.
