What's crap about being drunk?

mine was last week over at rock bottom brewery. it was ok. food was better than i expected & the homebrewed winter wheat ale was tasty. i didn't have to gladhand the boss or his boss so that was a plus. i got severely hit on by two chicks & two dudes (all separately) & i think that was a plus but i can't quite decide...

I avoided mine this year. Last year I told a girl I work with who's about fourteen years younger than me that I really fancied her. Spent quite a bit of time after that - even after the Christmas break - feeling like a dirty old man at work. Bad. I have a penchant for telling people what I really think of them. So the staff Christmas party is not a good idea.

Not true. I'm with my girlfriend at the moment because I got drunk and sent her an email telling her how I felt. I don't think I could have done that sober. Sad, sure, but CRAP, no.

I survived mine last night. It was at the Trocadero in London... good grief. Cheap booze, crap food and the worst "show dancers" ever. But there was one cute Spanish looking girl in the front row... she sure looked pretty in those hot pants.

But I escaped as soon as I could get away.

Here is my colleague Andy (a good guy) coping with last night's fiasco the only way one can - by getting heroically pissed-up on booze.
