I can't think of an earlier example of a split EP than Faith/Void. Anyone?

Also I never could find recordings by either band outside of that split EP (except the Void tracks on Flex Your Head)

Faith had another EP, 'Subject to Change,' which was merely adequate by my reckoning. I had it on pink vinyl, no less, but felt compelled to trade it in some many years ago.

Void have long been a pleasure I believed no one else shared. I am glad to see that at least a few others enjoy them. I suppose their being on Dischord saves them from complete obscurity. I care not much for the Faith side of that split.

Bubba's guitar playing always crushed me. The squealies and nauseating feedback wrapped around sludgy slabs of riffage. Brilliant. Falling apart. I agree, that is a good way to describe their sound. They are throwing rods and cracking gaskets all over the place.
