Are Buckethead, Tommy Stinson, and That Nine Inch Nails Drummer Guy still in the band? Since G'N'R was originally an amalgam of LA Guns and Hollywood Rose, maybe they could change the name to "Guns 'N' Nine Inch BucketMats."

buckethead is definitely not.
dunno about the other two.

This could be good, but who knows? The guy is a hell of a songwriter. Of note, just found that Bob Forrest (he of Thelonious Monster and Bicycle Thief greatness) posted a cover of jungle on his myspace page. It makes you forget Sheryl Crow's unmentionable cover, and says a lot about Rose's talent.

Going to this webpage is amusing for two reasons:

1. You get to see a picture of Axl_Dragon.
2. The "Gold Digger" ringtone is really lame.

Please go away, Axl Rose.

1. That's fucking funny. And kinda scary. But more funny.
2. I feel cheated; I got Yellowcard.

BTW, who the fuck is Yellowcard?

It seriously baffles me that, in the year 2006, people are apparently anticipating a Guns 'n' Roses album. Are people getting excited about new Warrant and Poison albums (if they're still releasing stuff) as well?

Major you're a dick.

We're almost not friends anymore.

And yes, they are both still releasing albums. Albums some would call "anticipated".

Even for those of us who were into hair metal back when (and still have a soft spot for bands like Poison and Warrant), Guns 'N' Roses was operating on a far superior plane to other so-called "hair bands." I don't know whether or not it pays to go into detailed explanations as to why anything off Appetite for Destruction is light-years ahead of anything off Open Up and Say...Ahh!, because if you weren't into it back in the day, you probably won't take the time to go back and rediscover the albums.

That said, i'm only anticipating Chinese Democracy for the trainwreck factor. I am not anticipating a quality album in the least.
