I like this band an awful lot. Nice to know that they're still alive and kicking separately.

Its too bad they arent joining the popular wave of comebacks i.e., slint, jamc, chavez. Id love to see them together again, probably could still make great albums. Them and soundgarden id love to see. Chris Cornell is just wasting his time not singing songs with Kim Thayil playing guitar....Badmotorfinger rocks

Unwound and Soundgarden mentioned in the same sentence...that just don't seem right.

"Demons Sing Love Songs" blows me away everytime.

When my band was looking to make our first record, we talked to him, as I'm a huge fan of "Leaves Turn Inside".

He asked how much our budget was, and I told him around $1500, though we could get more.

He said "I will make you a fucking amazing record for $1500!"

Totally nice. Totally miss Unwound.

That shit fills my heart with love. When we were recording our second album (first if you consider that the previous one only made it to cassette, but this was back in the day, naw'mean?), I was stressing out about getting everything done that we planned within the time we could afford. Dale Morningstar (an acclaimed producer of many Canadian classics who co-owns the Gas Station studio in Toronto), did the same thing. "Let's say that's how much money your recording's going to cost, and let's go until it's finished."
