I got my first Sepultura album because of this thread, salut!

So this Sepultura band is good? I was under the impression that they had some association with Korn and nu-metal?

Not really a metal fan anymore, but here's some stuff I cut my teeth on back in Middle and Highschool.

*Exodus- Fabulous Disaster..pretty much anything

*DRI- Thrash Zone

*Anything by Sacred Reich

*Napalm Death- Fear, Emptiness, Despair

*Brutal Truth, if you really think you can hang

I still listen to Godflesh a ton....that's pretty Metal.

You are probably thinking of the post- Max Cavalera albums when he left to form Soulfly. I was skeptical at first but Steve recommeded anything by them up to "Roots" and I bought Chaos A.D. Strong guitar and drumming, yes check them out Connor.

Sepultura went through different phases, they have been around since the mid-eighties. Thrash metal to death metal to "groove" metal which prefigured garbage like Korn and nu-metal. Totally superior to that junk.
